The Hope Café is a social hub integrating a wide variety of programs offered at The Salvation Army’s Centre of Hope. Salvation Army staff and volunteers make sure the coffee is always on and a listening ear is available. Open from 9:00 am to 11:00 a.m., Monday to Friday. Bingo is offered on Thursdays at 1:30 pm.
Our guests have an opportunity to make appointments with our Case Workers, Nursing staff, Outreach, and Family Services.
On Mondays and Thursdays, we have an Income Assistance worker who assists people with any issues pertaining to the Ministry of Social Development.
For members who live outdoors or in accommodations without laundry or showers, the Café provides these services upon availability.
